Brooke Williamson is not on Tournaments of Champions Season 4 because she is filming for Bobby’s Triple Threat. The new season lands in 2023.
Tournament of Champions season 4 made its long-awaited return to Food Network on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
It has once again assembled 32 chefs who will compete in a lose-and-go-home format.
Season IV saw 14 new casts enter the game show and 18 returning favorites. However, the first TOC winner Willaimson didn’t take part this season. She is “taking the year off,” explained Guy Fieri.
Other notable absences include Marcel Vigneron and Michael Voltaggio.
The contestant chefs are divided into two competitive quadrants -east coast and west coast.
After eight weeks and 32 head-to-head matches, one deserving contestant will emerge victorious.

Why Is Brooke Williamson Not In TOC Season 4?
Brooke Williamson is not TOC Season 4 because she is filming Bobby Flay’s new show Bobby’s Triple Threat. Brooke appeared for all previous seasons.
TOC Season 4 is the first season in which Williamson and Voltaggio did not compete. In contrast, Derry returned to compete in the show.
Food Network’s Bobby’s Triple Threat debuted on September 27, 2022. Culinary icon Flay created the toughest culinary competition that features one most-elite chefs taking on his three titans -Willaimson, Derry, and Voltaggio.
Only the highly skilled chefs will enter Flay’s secret kitchen to face off against his acclaimed chef-titans.
The participant will compete against different chefs in three head-to-head cooking rounds.
If the competitor can beat the chef-titans and earn more points, they’ll amass a cash prize worth $25,000.
The culinary program has had tremendous success since its debut last September. And following its popularity, Food Network has already picked it for the second season, which is due to premiere in 2023.
After just two episodes, the culinary show beat the benchmark ratings set before the six-week and year-earlier periods.
Moreover, Bobby’s Triple Threat became the backed outlet’s highest-rated new launch, reported Variety.
President of home and food content Jane Latman said, “Our viewers embraced ‘Bobby’s Triple Threat right away – from episode one.”
She added that the speakeasy vibe and elite cooking rounds made this show a unique experience.
Her Journey In TOC Since The Inaugural Series
Willaimson joined TOC in its inaugural season, which landed in March 2020. Fieri’s iconic culinary competition returned for its fourth season on February 19, 2023.
The first season saw ten men and six women participate in the competition. In the semi-final battle, there were four female chefs, including Willaimson. To say, this season was definitely a statement for women chefs.
For the first semi-final battle, Antonia Lofaso took on Williamson. Willaimson’s dish was described as elegant. In the end, she was the best in the West. She earned the win of 92 to 89.
For the battle of the east, Maneet Chauhan and Amanda Freitag competed. Freitag took down Chauhan with a score of 87 to 85.
Amanda earned the spot of the best chef on the east coast and was set to face off against Williamson. Heading towards the final round, these two highly dedicated chefs really pushed flavors, creativity, and textures.
In the final battle, both chefs had to incorporate duck, kohlrabi, breakfast, lunch, and dinner -Yes, they had to make three dishes in just 60 minutes for the finals.
Willaimson made a duck egg with apple and kohlrabi for breakfast. The dish was rich with layers of flavor, that hit all the notes. She went lighter and prepared fried duck and salad for lunch.
Brooke prepared a perfectly cooked duck breast as her last dish. The dish had deep layers of textures and flavors and was served over a lush pureed.
Only one point separated the two experts while determining the TOC Season 1 winner.
Williamson was crowned as the winner of the inaugural season of TOC in April 2020. She further participated in the second and third seasons and became runner-ups in 2021 and 2022.
Where Is Brooke Williamson Now?
Most recently, Brooke appeared in Flavortown Food Network Champs on February 15, 2023.
She and other chefs judged for competitive chefs who’ve won every Food Network competition (virtually) and are now facing each other for the title of Flavortown Food Network Champ and a cash prize of $15,000.
After Season 3 of TOC wrapped up in April 2022, Willaimson was picked as one of the chef-titans by Bobby.
She then decided to go in Bobby’s newest show, Bobby’s Triple Threat and did not participate in TOC’s fourth season.
In TOC Season 3, the chef competed with Jet Tila, Tobias Dorzon, and Tiffani Faison in the finals.
Soon after the season ended, Williamson shared she was entering Bobby’s Triple Threat, produced by Rock Shrimp Productions for discovery+ and Food Network, which aired that September.
Following its success, the network later picked it for the second season. Ahead of joining the show, the American chef said she was excited about the show.
Besides her professional career, Williamson is a loving mom and wife. She is married to chef Nick Roberts, and the pair share a son, Hudson Roberts.
